Choosing Condoms
CONDOMS come in all shapes, sizes, colours, and flavours. Which one you pick depends on what’s important to you. Read more about the different features of each condom in the section below. Try several different types of condoms before deciding which one you like best.
SIZE
If you’d prefer an average sized condom then consider Durex Elite or Pasante Naturelle. If you need a larger condom consider Mates Kingsize, Pasante Large. If you would like a condom that fits more closely to your skin then consider Mates Conform or Pasante Trim.
SHAPE
Every man is shaped differently, for example, if you need some extra room at the head, try Mates Natural, Pasante Regular or Pasante Naturelle
THICKNESS
All condoms have to meet certain safety standards. No matter how thick or thin a condom is, it should not break if it’s used correctly. All the condoms on our website can be used for all types of sex. If you’d like something thinner for more sensation try Durex Elite or Mates Ultra Thin. If you want something thicker for added security try Mates Protector or Durex Extra Safe.
FUN
Condoms sometimes have different textures that are supposed to stimulate both partners. The most common are ribbed (thin grooves) or dotted (raised bumps). Try Mates Ribbed.
FLAVOUR
Sometimes the rubbery scent or taste of regular condoms can put you off. We have a variety of different flavoured condoms that you can use for any kind of sex including Mates Flavoured and Condomi Spearmint.
NON-LATEX
Some people are sensitive or allergic to latex. Some condoms are made without latex including
Pasante Unique and Pasante Female Condom.
LUBE is very important: it make sexual sensations stronger and keeps condoms from breaking.Freedoms sells two types of lube: water-based and silicon-based. You can use any of our lubes with any condom. NB: Do not use any oil-based lube with condoms. Oil-based lubes (like butter, vegetable oil, suncream or massage oils) cause latex condoms to weaken and split. We do not sell any oil-based lubes on our website.
WATER-BASED
Water is the main ingredient in these lubes. They are good for your skin and wash off easily. If you’d like something in the form of a gel consider Wet Stuff, Wet Stuff Gold, ID Glide. If you’d like something in the form of a cream consider Liquid Silk.
SILICON-BASED
Silicon-based lubes are designed to last longer because you don’t need to use very much. They are generally more expensive than water-based lubes and can also be used as a condom-friendly massage lotion. You need to use soap and water to remove them. Try Eros or ID Millennium.
FUN
Some water-based lubes, such as ID Pleasure are designed to enhance sensations. You can also buy water-based lubes in a variety of flavours including ID Juicy Lube.
